About Nandi Hollo
Therapist
Nandi Hollo has over a decade of study and professional practice in massage, human movement and body-mind therapies. He is also an experienced yoga teacher, disability support worker, and healthy living enthusiast. This wide skillset enables him to offer specialised massage and movement therapy to people with a diverse range of abilities and health conditions.
Nandi was born in Hungary. Since he was young he has enjoyed sport, martial arts, and movement. In his late teens Nandi extended this interest to include yoga and meditation. These practices grew into such a passion, that at the age of twenty-six Nandi decided to change the direction of his life, and moved to Australia to learn to teach yoga, and to be close to his family who had preceded him in the move. Nandi went on to complete two years of rigorous foundational training in classical yoga, and has since immersed himself in many other yoga methods with leading yoga teachers, which has shaped both his practice and teaching.
While teaching yoga for several years, Nandi also worked as a disability support worker. During this time, the process of recovering from a personal injury prompted Nandi to find another way of working with his skills. In his search, he attended a workshop on bodywork, which revealed both a talent and passion for this field. This discovery led to a further six years of intensive training in massage and bodywork methods, across a diverse range of modalities.
Working for several years across numerous roles in the community (yoga teacher; massage therapist; financial assistant in disability work; disability support worker; care coordinator; facilitator; and community event organiser) Nandi decided to integrate these diverse skills to offer specialised support services to the community. As a result he developed Full Circle Movement Therapy. In this role he advocates for healthy living, community connection, meaning, and freedom of movement in the body and mind. Alongside offering public services, Full Circle Movement Therapy has also naturally extended on Nandi’s years of experience in disabilities to offer specialised, attentive and professional massage, movement, and exercise therapy to support those living with disability, and their families.
Nandi is passionate about offering sessions that renew a sense of wholeness between each person and their body and life. His skills as a massage therapist and yoga teacher have been included in trainings, events, workshops and retreats. When he’s not offering a therapy session you can find him volunteering at the Flame Tree Food Coop, or PCYC Bulli, adventuring with friends in nature, spending time with his family, improving his juggling skills, playing basketball, or seeking out live performances.
